In weightlessness – Apesanteur – figures move and try to confront the tetherlessness of dissolved gravity. To do this, they dock onto each other and neutralise themselves into identity-less patterns. In this way, they create amorphous in-between worlds, an alien metaverse. How do we relate to each other and to our surroundings was a question that drove KM through a multitude of sketches and drawings to this theme ¬- and which he answers for himself in sometimes apocalyptic-looking large formats.
