KM begins to sew the embroideries of old-motherly home art discovered at flea markets into his canvases and uses them as impulses for his painting. Turned inside out and upside down – VERSO – the cut wool threads form a poetry similar to brushstrokes and thus a poetic radiance from which KM draws inspiration for his abstract colour and figurative interpretations.
