KM’s alternative Mars world embodies a weightless cosmos of ideas and forms. Our neighbouring planet becomes allegorically the home of his eclectic repertoire of forms. Rabbit and vase, aviator and swimmer, Mr. Noland and the police chief of Saigon, butterfly and Aku drill populate their common planet and yet remain alien and anonymous to each other.
