The iconography of embroidered pictures from the last century, often copies of famous originals or homeland motifs, now forms the starting point of his painting. KM integrates the cut-up found objects and gives them a new presence in his own pictorial world, as snippets of thought, so to speak: past and present become simultaneity – En même Temps. At the same time, the pictures leave the rectangular in favour of polygonal structures and arrange themselves into a new dialogue of elements.
